Our new CPR-2 Cell Phone Recording Earbud Microphone does not require a connection to the telephone which allows you to record from any telephone you are using including cell phones, pay phones, hotel phones, office phones, etc., and it can be used with any recorder (including our MBR-Series digital recorders) that has a 3.5mm MIC jack (jack must provide power to microphone).
Initially designed for law enforcement to ensure evidentiary-quality recordings from a cell phone, the CPR-2 features a 4.5' lead with built-in 3X audio amplifier and plug-in power (power received from recorder MIC jack -- no batteries required), and it's very easy to use ----- simply place the earbud microphone in the ear you will be holding the phone to, turn on your recorder, and you're all set to record both sides of the conversation.
